Community Investments

Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) encourages community organizations, public agencies, and providers to deliver high-quality services that address the social determinants of health. Social determinants of health are conditions in the environments in which people are born, live, learn, work, play, worship, and age that affect a wide range of health, functioning, and quality-of-life outcomes and risks.

GCHP sponsors events such as health fairs, outreach efforts, focused initiatives, and annual fundraisers focusing on:

  1. Homelessness
  2. Housing
  3. Food Insecurities
  4. Respite Services (caregiver services)
  5. Supportive Services (free and low-cost clinics, childcare, and education)

Sponsorship

GCHP continues its support of organizations in Ventura County through its sponsorship program.

We are currently accepting applications to assist mission-driven organizations like ours that are dedicated to serving Medi-Cal members. If you are a Ventura County community-based organization that we have funded in the past or a new organization that would like to partner with GCHP, we would welcome the opportunity to hear from you.

To request sponsorship for your organization and its event, please fill out the request form or email us at CommunityRelations@goldchp.org.

To allow for review, please submit sponsorship requests four to six weeks in advance. If this is an urgent request, please contact CommunityRelations@goldchp.org.

Letter of Support

GCHP is pleased to provide letters of support to community-based organizations, public agencies, and providers delivering health care-enhancing services to our community. We encourage partners who are applying for grants to fund projects focused on expanding access to health services and minimizing social determinants of health for vulnerable populations, like Medi-Cal beneficiaries, to apply for a letter of support.

If you would like a letter of support from GCHP, please click the link below and submit the request four to six weeks prior to your deadline. If you have any questions, please email CommunityRelations@goldchp.org.
