California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Advisory Committee

The California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Advisory Committee provides input to Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) about ongoing Medi-Cal reform and CalAIM implementation efforts. The committee also advises GCHP on important issues that affect GCHP members who may qualify for Enhanced Care Management (ECM) or Community Supports (CS) services. The seven committee members represent various entities GCHP serves, including:

  • GCHP beneficiaries
  • Member advocates
  • Educators
  • Local elected officials
  • Transportation services staff
  • Health care providers
  • Community-based organizations

Each appointed member will serve a two-year term and may apply for reappointment up to two times. The committee meets at least once per quarter. Positions are reserved for those not interested in providing ECM/CS services.
